Essential Health is expanding, and we are seeking an enthusiastic Office Reception & Recruitment Assistant to join our team. This dual role combines front-office reception duties, administrative support, and recruitment assistance. The position is based at our Head Office in Brackenfell, and the successful candidate should reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception | Front Desk

  • Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and candidates professionally
  • Answer, screen, and redirect calls
  • Maintain a tidy and organised reception area
  • Manage deliveries
  • Provide general support to staff and management

Administrative Support

  • Maintain filing systems and office records
  • Prepare documents and support general office operations

Recruitment Support

  • Assist with posting job vacancies on appropriate platforms
  • Screen CVs and shortlist candidates
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews
  • Conduct reference checks and follow up with applicants
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports
  • Support onboarding of new hires

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate (minimum)
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in recruitment or office administration
  • Desirable: Diploma or Certificate in Psychology, HR, or related field
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Professional, approachable, and self-motivated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office systems
